Customized watches
The movements of watches that began to appear at the beginning of the 20th century had a very long service life, like pocket watches. However, unlike pocket watches used in pockets, non-waterproof wristwatches at the time were prone to failure due to rust and dust contamination, and were not recommended for "daily use" in the true sense.
In the mid-20th century, waterproof and dustproof wristwatches became more common. However, unfortunately, the movements in watches from this era didn't have the same durability as earlier movements in various ways.
Is it possible to create a watch that can be used in daily life and passed down for a long time? The answer to this long-standing request is... the Pastime Custom Watch.
From the late 1800s to the early 1900s, the movements of small pocket watches were not only of high quality and beautifully finished, but also remarkably durable. To match this, custom wristwatches were created with cases designed and produced specifically to withstand daily use, and they have the following features.
●The case is approximately 35 mm in diameter without the crown and lugs, 10 mm thick, and 18 mm wide at the lugs.
It can accommodate most American 0-size standard pocket watch movements (except for some movements with special specifications).
Since the movement can be mounted without any modification, it can be returned to its original pocket watch case if necessary.
●Two types of case materials are available: "silver" which does not get tired and matches antique watches well, and "stainless steel" which is more casual and durable. The silver case is not plated to emphasize the texture of the material.
●All cases are made by "cutting out from solid material."
●The bezel and case back are both screw-in type with a packing, and the crown is also equipped with a packing to enhance water and dust resistance. You can use it with confidence as a daily waterproof watch.
●The movement is equipped with American or Swiss pocket watch movements (0 size) from the late 1800s to the early 1900s that our store has carefully selected. It is completely overhauled and adjusted, and comes with a 2-year warranty.
●Both the front and back crystals are made of sapphire crystal, so you can enjoy the beautiful movement without worrying about crystal damage.
We also offer custom wristwatch cases using antique pocket watch movements other than 0 size at our store. As the movements can be installed without any modifications, they can be returned to their original pocket watch cases if necessary.
・All cases are made from solid silver material through cutting and shaping.
・Waterproof cases have a screw-in bezel and back cover with packing, and the crown
also has packing for increased water and dust resistance, allowing you to use it with
peace of mind as a daily waterproof watch. (Depending on the specifications and shape
of the movement, some cases may not be waterproof for repeat customers and others.)
・Waterproof cases use sapphire crystal glass, while non-waterproof cases use mineral glass.
・The movements are mounted on pocket watches from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
They are fully maintained, adjusted, and come with a two-year warranty.

At our store, we not only sell custom wristwatches with antique movements incorporated but also provide casing services where we can put the movement of your pocket watch into an original case made by our store. The casing fee is as follows.

・Pocket watch movement purchased from our store: ¥220,000+TAX (both silver and stainless steel)
・Customer-supplied movement: ¥280,000+TAX (both silver and stainless steel)
All of the above prices are for the case and casing labor. Dismantling, cleaning, maintenance and adjustment of the movement itself will be charged separately.

・Our original dial (made with silver pearlescent finish, black-dyed red bronze, silver guilloche finish, and logo, numbers, and indexes hand-carved by our exclusive engraver)
